We have been involved in the preparation of a comprehensive masterplan aimed at addressing building envelope failure and building-wide remedial requirements for a valued 1970s inner-Sydney apartment building.  The intention of the masterplan is to establish a co-ordinated framework which defines a considered order of priority of works for everything from issues requiring immediate and essential repair and remediation to strategic measures which will bring medium and long-term improvement and uplift in resident amenity and asset value.

Our scope encompasses the investigation and resolution of water ingress and thermal deficiencies across the existing building alongside upgrades to compliance, waterproofing, drainage, surfacing and balustrade detailing. The strategy prioritises a holistic envelope response to arrest moisture penetration and heat loss/gain and reduce ongoing maintenance liability, while exploring opportunities for enhancement of internal and external communal spaces.

Development of a planning application package is currently underway.
